お母さん大学は、“孤育て”をなくし、お母さんの笑顔をつなげています

8月27日松葉荘だより: It’s a Play-Doh Day!

The last Tuesday of the month is the “English Open Day” for Matsuba-Sou, and that day we had “It’s a Play-doh day!”.

We made a clay using flour, oil and salt with the participants, so that we could make safe clay for the babies even if they put the piece in mouths.

So here we are, made the clay on our own and colored it with food coloring. Kids tried the many allocations of balance between flour and the salt, tried many colors to make their wished color, which happened to be difficult for them; but enjoyed it a lot.

For the baby who had participated, Play-doh had not attract attention but reading, he enjoyed it a lot.

We could see his enthusiasm through his look and concentration on the book. It was pretty amazing how the babies can show such an interest in the book.

Just like last month, we have not had much success at using English through playing at Matsuba-Sou. However, I am sure we could use the last two experiences to make success someday in the near future.

We will again have an English Open Day in September. We hope we can share some more fun!
